Discovered the BEST way to self massage traps
Hi guys!! If you, like me, massively struggle with those knots like straight down on the top of your shoulder (like upper traps) I found the best way to release them, since they’re so hard to get with a lacrosse ball or anything else.
But what you do is put a barbell at approximately squat height, and then stand up into the bar and then lean your head to the opposite direction of the bar. I let one side stay on the rack. I ended up adding a 10lb weight to the side I was standing by and it’s literally the best my trap has felt in so long.
