You have a tough job too! I commend you, that must be so hard. I agree on the too young to slow down. That’s why i was asking because I’ve been battling with this decision for years now myself. I literally just said the same thing to my husband about going part time so i could spend more time working on myself and my body. It beats you down physically and mentally. Carrying equipment around, running to codes, flying to pick ecmo patients up. By days end I’m dragging my limbs behind me 😂 the good news is i don’t take call anymore. So i have that going for me at least 🤣also im a bit technologically challenged so i have no idea if I’ve sent this to everyone or just you so i apologize in advance to the group if I’ve sent this to everyone 😬 It must be so difficult for you too bc you have the mental stress of caring for such critically ill patients with awful outcomes. So that’s mentally exhausting for you on top of your own pain and limitations. I’m so sorry you are going through that.❤️
