What is BioniCon?
We're so glad you asked.
BioniCon is the first-of-its-kind conference for adults living with scoliosis and spinal fusion. Think of it as a connecting point for patients, PT's, exercise experts, and so much more. BioniCon aims to create accessible space for scoliosis education and genuine connection between members of this community.
Our first conference was held in Philadelphia in April 2026, with 65 attendees, 6 exhibitors, and a whole lot of scoli pride. We're so excited to be cooking up 2027 already!

FAQ's:
-
Do I have to have a spinal fusion to attend BioniCon?
-
Not at all! Where ever you are in your scoliosis journey, all curvy humans are welcome. We plan on tailoring the schedule of events to the needs of the people attending, so there will be applicable information and activities for everyone.
-
-
Will all types of scoliosis be addressed at the conference?
-
We plan on covering as much as possible, with a tailored focus on the needs of this small first group. Idiopathic scoliosis is the most common form, so that will likely be the main focus for this first conference, with the plan to expand moving forward.
